The talented singer/songwriter Caecillia has already been performing since she was four years old. This led to the Jakarta-born multi-instrumentalist choosing to become a musician from a very young age.

Born on January 29, 1999, Caecillia learned how to play the guitar when she was in second grade with the help of the Internet and a steely determination to better herself. In third grade, she began singing after taking lessons. By the time she was 13, she discovered another hidden talent: songwriting. Taking inspiration from everyday life and citing the likes of Norah Jones and Paramore as some of her diverse influences, Caecillia first began her musical journey under the name Dheandra Adelina, before she changed it to Caecillia in 2018.

With the help of her mentors such as Fariz RM, Totong Wicaksono, Kemala Ayu, and other great musical icons, Caecillia has continued to evolved into a more accomplished songwriter and performer. She has released five singles thus far, with the latest being the unique earworm “Eating Glitter”, which broadens her sonic palette by adding modern percussions and a hint of distortion.

With her career on an upward trajectory, Caecillia hopes that people can relate to her songs and that they could become an outlet for teenagers who are at the same age as her.
